The Federal Government is still operating under a "Government Shutdown".  

The Abilene Housing Authority (AHA) would like to communicate that AHA will make FULL Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) to landlords on the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) and FULL Utility Allowance Payments (UAP) payments on behalf of participants on the Housing Choice Voucher & Public Housing Programs.  Payments will be made late next week and will be available on the first business day of November 2025 as normal.

Contractors/Vendors that are conducting business with AHA can expect payment for their services in November 2025.
