Larry Holmes, Chair
Larry Holmes has been in Abilene since 1968.  He was Administrator of the old Cox Hospital for five years before it closed and Marketing Manager for United Cable TV for five years. For 25 years, since 1983, he has been a sales agent with Dalzell Realtors. Currently, he is Manager of the Commercial Division of Dalzell.  His wife, Martha, is retired from AISD and they have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. Mr. Holmes was President of the Abilene Board of Realtors in 1998 and served as Vice-President in 1989 and 2007. He was honored as Sales Person of the Year in 1983 and Realtor of the Year in 2003. He is a long-time board member of the Big Country AIDS Resources and has been active with TAR and NAR and with AIDS prevention at the regional and state levels. Mr. Holmes is a member of the Highland Church of Christ.

Vanessa Faz, Vice-Chair

Vanessa Faz has lived in Abilene for 14 years.  In 2005, Ms. Faz joined the First Financial Bank mortgage team as Mortgage Loan Officer and brought over 8 years of experience and knowledge to the department.  Over the years, she has helped many families attain their dreams of homeownership.  Ms. Faz originates First Financial Bank's Affordable Home Loan Program which helps low to moderate-income families achieve the dream of homeownership and assists the seasoned home buyer in finding the ideal loan program that will best fit their financial needs.  Her fluent Spanish has enabled Ms. Faz to assist First Financial Bank's Spanish-speaking borrowers through the mortgage loan process.  She also underwrites VA and Conventional loans.

Ms. Faz is active in her community.  She serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of Habitat for Humanity Abilene, where she also serves on the Family Selection Committee.  She is also an active Board Member of the Women's Council of Big Country Homebuilders where she served as treasurer in 2007 and 2008.  Ms. Faz is married to Ramiro Faz. They have a daughter, Laura Isabel.

Kiddy Boswell, Secretary

Kiddy Boswell has been in the Real Estate business since the late 1980’s. She was in the Banking industry prior to entering real estate and received her introduction to real estate while serving as Property Manager for the bank. Ms. Boswell attended Rider High School and Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Having been raised in a military family, she has lived all over the United States. Ms. Boswell has been married to her husband, Jim, for 38 years and they have two daughters and five grandchildren. After raising their daughters in Abilene, they moved away in 1992, and then returned in 2005. Since mid 2006, she has been the Executive Officer for the Abilene Board of REALTORS®. Ms. Boswell loves Abilene and its people. She has come home and found the niche that makes her happy and content.

Patricia Hippely, Commissioner
Patricia Hippely, an Ohio native, moved to Abilene in 2005.  After completing the Para-Professional First Responder for Victims of Violent Crimes course, she began volunteering for a crisis hotline and as a first responder to a local trauma center and the Abilene Police Department.  Ms. Hippely believes that everyone should be able to give back to their community and is grateful for the opportunities that she has been given.  She makes the most of every opportunity to contribute.  Outside of crisis volunteering, Ms. Hippely also contributes her time to the Republican Party of Taylor County and Keep Abilene Beautiful.  She is also a resident of the Abilene Housing Authority’s Low Rent Public Housing community.  Ms. Hippely has 2 children and loves to spend time with her 6 grandchildren.  She also enjoys several hobbies including fishing and camping.
